You're probably AFRAID to "Like" this post because you'll be 'outed' and judged. I must tell you that you've matured, but that hasn't stopped you from wondering who your real friends and sincere acquaintances are, especially because you're beautiful and wealthy.
You may feel like no one cares about YOU. You're tired, however. Discussions with others never seem to advance to the next stage; no one ever cares to learn about your dreams. People repeat over and over how amazing you look and constantly remind you of all of your past successes. It becomes a bittersweet lullaby that puts you to sleep with poisonous and superficial bullshit.
Please stop beating yourself up. Carly Simon's 'You're So Vain' isn't about you, and it's not your fault that you've been blessed with the things that others covet.
Despite your profound sadness, you must move on. You've worked very hard to get where you are, haven't you? No one likes to be used, and you should be careful. But pushing people out of your life and remaining secluded is not the answer!
You're wise enough by now to know who's 'real' and who is not. You're a bright star. Take a chance!
