Born in 1962, in Queens, New York, Matthew J. Goss, Jr., has self-published works of science fiction short stories, fantasia, space operas, and fictional novels on Amazon's Kindle platform.
He's a husband, and the father of two young adults, but he's also worked for some of Wall Street's top investment banks as a world-class precious metals and proprietary futures trader. He's run several small companies and start-up’s, including one as a floor member in the trading pits on the Commodities Futures Exchange. He's authored cutting edge trading algorithms, traveled the world for business, lived abroad in both Asia and South America for ten years, boxes, and plays the piano and guitar. These past few years, he's reestablished himself as a financial technology consultant again, working on cutting-edge software for institutional traders.
Mr. Goss does his best writing in the late-night hours while everyone's asleep, or on the weekends, sitting in front of two large sunny windows at his home in Orlando, Florida. Fascinated and inspired by theology, cosmology, astronomy, physics, alternate realities, philosophy and the big questions, Matthew enjoys transporting readers to visionary futures, where bold flawed heroes thrive on adventures, and set out to save the weak and defenseless.
